Tuesday Takes week 17

This past weekend I went and got Easton's pictures taken! I love how they all turned out! He was so cute with the girls taking his pictures. He would talk back at them and then smile haha it was hilarious. He was getting sick of pictures when he was in his blessing outfit. With my sister, Aunt Stacey to the rescue he smiled at her and we were able to wrap it up! This past week Easton is grabbing things, especially his little colorful chain toy, his burp rag haha and he hold his hand up to his head and hold his hair. He is such a little character, his personalities keeps shining through more and more each week. We put him in his bumbo and he will sit in it for about 5 minutes and he has had enough. But he looks around like he is Mr. Big Stuff! We also put him in his saucer and he thought that was so cool, he slowly moved the chair around by kicking his feet and his eyes would go really big when he would discover new toys on the saucer. He was more interested in kicking back, sucking on his fists in the saucer. Which was so funny to watch. That lasted about 20 minutes and he was done. I can't believe our little man turns 4 months this Thursday! Time is flying by way too fast! But we are loving every minute of it!

Easton's Blessing

This weekend we blessed Easton! My father in law had the opportunity to give Easton the blessing. He did a great job for how nervous he was! Justin was able to hold the microphone and I'm so glad he was able to be a part of it. We had such a great turn out with how far of a drive it was for family to get out there! My family has always been so supportive with events! We had to use the Fairview Senior Citizen center to fit all fam and it was great! Thank you Mom and Dad for the AMAZING smoke pulled pork sandwiches! And thank you to all the others that brought the chips, drinks, goodies etc! I couldn't of done it with out you! We also celebrated Heston's 8th Birthday!! He was so happy with all the gifts he got! My camera died in the middle of taking pictures of the family with Easton in his blessing outfit of course! That always has to happen with stuff like that right?! So I'll have to wait for copies of Heston's birthday. Thank you again everyone for coming and supporting us!

Tuesday Takes (weeks 15 & 16)

Week 15

Week 16

These past two weeks you hold onto my thumbs and with a little help you pull yourself up to where you sit up and you look around like a big boy. You still can't get enough of your fists! On Sunday, March 6, you rolled from your tummy to your back! Way to go bud! You are starting this new squeal really high and loud when you are talking, it's so funny! You get the giggles a lot more now. Especially at night when we are getting ready for bed and we have our little nightly "talks" I will say a sentence you and you will just giggle! We love it! You watch your brother like no other. When you are getting undressed out of your jammies you almost giggle and are so happy because you think you are getting in the tub(we bath at night) so when we put clothes on it breaks your heart and you cry. You were also blessed on Sunday March 6 by Grandpa Taufer!

Tuesday Takes week 14

Week 14




This week has brought many more smiles and a few more little giggles! I will just look at you and smile and you will smile back at me with the "oh stop mom/shy/flirty" smile! I love it! You also are studying things more, you get your hands going, wiggling like crazy with objects in front of you but you're still not quite sure what to do. You are so close to having all of your head bobbles gone! What a big boy!

Tuesday Takes (weeks 12 & 13)

Week 12

You LOVE the tub! You kick like crazy and it breaks your little heart when it's time to get out, you cry, but once your jammies are on you get over it pretty fast! You are sleeping anywhere from 6-8 hours which mommy loves! Thank you for that! Your fists are your best friends!

Week 13

I can't believe you turned 3 months on Wed the 16th! Crazy how time flies by! Please slow down, it's making me sad, but I love watching you grow and discover new things! This week you giggled for the first time at me on Tues the 15th when I got off work after I changed your diaper I took your feet and would reach your feet up to your forehead or chin and you started with a wide open mouth, to a gasp, then to a giggle! It was SO cute!! You are one kicking machine and love to be talked to and tell us stories!

Tuesday Takes

10 weeks
Your fists have for sure become your new best friends! You get slobber all over your fist and cheek! You smile at me when I pick you up after work! You also smile at Dad when you see him after work! It's good to know that you love us and missed us :)!! You are sleeping 6-7 hours at night, every now and then it's 5 hour stretches but mommy thanks you for that! Your hair is receding a little bit, but you still have lots of hair on the sides and in the back and on top in a cute little foe-hawk. It will stick straight up most of the time. We love how much more you are talking, you get so excited and kick your feet and move your arms when you are talking to us! We love those little stories!

11 weeks

The classic mouth open while sleeping! Usually you have your arms spread out, but you were cuddling with Mom at the hospital while we were visiting Grandpa Taufer. You are holding your head up so good, little bobbles here and there though, but you almost got it. You are pushing up on your feet almost like you want to stand. You are slowly discovering your fingers. You will stare at your fists and slowly move your fingers and switch off grabbing one finger after another. We are having so much fun watching you discover these things!

Tuesday Takes (weeks 6-9)

Every Tuesday I take Easton's picture. I think it's so much fun to watch him change each week! He is growing SO fast! I'm calling them "Tuesday Takes". It works out perfect because he is one week older every Tuesday! Haha cheesy I know! These are all pictures from my phone so I'll have to download the rest of his week pictures from my camera!


WEEK 9



You are smiling so much more and slowly at other people rather then just Mom & Dad, Grandpas & Grandmas. You love to be talked to and you are cooing so much more! It's so fun to hear your little squeals! Your fists are slowly becoming more interesting to suck on, but you're still not sure on the taste or what to think.


WEEK 8


You have discovered your fists! You love bath time! You get so excited when we undress you, you lay in just your diaper and kick kick kick your feet! Your smiling more and more and cooing like crazy! You turn your head when you hear daddy talking. At your 2 month check up you weighed 11 lbs 15 oz and you are 24 1/2 inches long! You are in the 94% for your heighth! Way to go kid!! Chunk it up! You were showing off for the doctor kicking, smiling and talking. You were happy as could be until the shots came and you're poor little heart was broken (so was Mom's) You zonked out pretty much the whole day.

WEEK 7



You are full of smiles. You are doing 5-6 hour stretches at night, which mommy loves and thanks you for that! Tub time is still your favorite, you love having your hair washed! You are talking a little more. You are so strong and you are getting really good at holding your head up. ( You've been strong with your head since day one, but you are doing little bobs)


WEEK 6

Even though you can't sit up by yourself, you love to ride your horse. Your eyes go really wide when he makes noises. You are chunking up more and more, getting little rolls on your legs and we love it! It is so fun to see you smile more each day! Your hair spikes up on top no matter what mom does and it wings out in the back and sometimes on the side! You are stylin little man!
