"Southston" vs "Easton"

I had my doctor's appointment yesterday. Dr. Anderson was checking to make sure Easton's head was still down and it turned out that the little twarp has flipped!! He has been head down since I was 32 weeks!! His head is under my right rib and his bum is kitty corner from that. All this time I thought it was his bum shoved up under my rib. Poor little guy, I have been pushing his head down thinking it was his bum, I've probably given him brain damage or his first "hair cut" from his head rubbing on my ribs haha. He has 3 weeks to move. My doctor explained to me if he hasn't moved by 38 weeks, they will give me an epidural, do a manipulation, monitor him for a bit, if he stays down, they will break my water and I'll deliver. The risks of that are the cord can get wrapped around or he will turn right back and then we will have to do a C-section. Please Easton, Please be a good little guy and move back down!! Like Dr. Anderson said right now we want a "Southston" not an "Easton". Haha gotta love the doctors that lighten up the mood!

35 weeks!!

I can't believe I only have 5 weeks left!! His movements are getting much bigger but not as wiggly, poor guy has no room in there! His pushes his little bum up into my ribs(hey it's better then being kicked in the ribs) I know for sure know what it's like to have no sleep! Heart burn, achey back and misc. bones are my best friends :) ! We can't wait to meet this little guy!!
This weekend was a lot of fun! I had my work shower on Friday and Family/Friend shower on Saturday. I had a great turn out and I was SPOILED!! Thank you so much everyone for all of your sweet gifts!! I am even more excited for this little guy to come!! All of the soft jammies I got were making me want to cuddle with him right then and there haha! Thanks again to my Mom and sisters for doing a shower for me!! You guys are so sweet!! I love you!! I'll post pics from my shower soon...hopefully:)

Finally I'm able to post! Here are a few pics to show the progess of the house! These are a little old, because our house is pretty much completely framed and the roof is almost finished. The roof has been harder to get on by playing games with the weather! But it's coming along!!

28 weeks already?!

I can't believe I'm 28 weeks! 7 month mark, woo woo! Only 12 weeks to go! This is so crazy!! I've been really bad about posting the "belly pics"!! This sweet boy moves like crazy and I love it! It's so fun to feel every little kick and punch. It's funny to look down when he is pushing up against one side and my belly is lop sided. I can't wait to see what this little guy looks like, but I'm enjoying every minute being pregnant!

Mailroom Brigade

These lovely ladies to the side of me are my "legs and muscles" for my job! We call ourselves the Mail room Brigade. You know the joke about "How many men it takes to change a light bulb?", well this is how many people it takes to do the mail room :D (doctor's notes don't process through some people's heads clearly hehehe....inside joke)

House Update!!!

This weekend we were able to accomplish more thanks to all the help we got!! (Seriously thank you so much to all our friends and family that came up this weekend to help out! We owe you one! ) WARNING: I'm not good with construction terms to bear with me on this haha.... we were able to set the "big beam", floor joices and almost the whole floor! It's so cool to see this starting to take shape! I almost forgot, thank you to my sweet mother that came up and helped me knock out some more cabinets, we were painting fools!! Thanks again everybody for your help!

House Update

Things are finally coming along! This weekend we finished up the foundation by painting the outside with tar....talk about a big project. Now we just need to finish back filling, get the window wells in, finish the underground plumbing, get the garage and basement pad done and we can start framing! Yay! We are so excited that things are rolling and we actually have a structure started!
